Me I & my self

☮️  I have been a helicopter lover since childhood & dreamed of having flying magic carpets. I quickly realized that to fly in 🚁 you have to be extremely wealthy or at least a really wealthy VIP, but then you are more likely to be flown than to fly yourself unless you are a selected few.  So interest turned to light and ultralight helicopters.  I traveled and flew in light helicopter, met pilots and helicopter instructors and licensed mechanics. Then constantly built up & honed skills. Searched for helicopters that would make us happy. It was much more difficult than I have imagined.  None of the available designs were suitable, either too delicate, with a poor engine, or expensive to purchase or maintain.  Couldn’t find a helicopter that was interesting, so began to make plans to build a helicopter without the flaws described.  Université Paris-Saclay and ESTACA were where got schooled and built a family of the best experts around the #world, now ...

Hum Humm HUAM

Image
At the AERO exhibition in Friedrichshafen a new* helicopter was officially unveiled - the tesi HUAM. HUAM is an acronym of Helicopter Urban Air Mobility.   The chief designer of the helicopter is Mr Mauro Piazzoli, who was a pioneer in Italy for modifying a rotorway helicopter into a turbine engine (1). Later was one of the key persons behind the AvioTecnica company which used to manufacture a ES 101 Raven helicopter (2). Later he was a chief designer responsible for the Helitek KRONO 102 (which is the same airframe as this one, but different engine) and now holds a role of a chief design engineer of the tesi’s HUAM project. The helicopter is a two seater, with side-by-side cabin layout, with two-bladed semi-rigid main rotor and two-bladed semi-rigid tail rotor. At the first look you may see some resemblance with the Rotorway style of helicopter and based on the past experience of its designer, this is understandable. However, upon closer investigation, you will find that apart fro...

High hopes from Chronos Auto Biographies

I was asked to write a Sentence for chronosautobiographies My life started in quite prestigious environment in Bangladesh but due to domestic violence I had to face, emotional roller coasters and abuses followed, so I have been day dreaming to escape & not after long dreams started to take shape in some form which led me to ask Allah for more, and more experiences followed as I was sent to several boarding schools and relatives homes at which I experienced enjoyable periods of games, socialisations and indulgances but soon physical pains from beatings and humiliations started to follow so I started dreaming about miracles which started to unravel: First our family moved to Jordan where beatings were non existent and domestic violence came close to zero but teenage years started and I started to experience pain of inequality and crush which led me to dream of international travels and lie to people around me about my travel adventures which got me into even more humiliating situatio...

Gratitude to Hong Kong & Singapore for Inspiring

Hong Kong  The journey of pursuing freedom in mobility through homebuilt helicopters started in documentation form thanks to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The PolyU business plan competition has inspired me to team up with a student from Myanmar, who I met while having lunch in a cafeteria at The International Islamic University Malaysia where I was enrolled at the time.  Although the plan didn't win the competition, I was able to have documentation which helped me market development of homebuilt helicopter development in the region. The Peninsula Hotel with Twin Rooftop Helipads at the Twin Tower in Hong Kong along with The Batman & Jackie Chan movies showing incredible scenes showcasing helipads of Hong Kong as well as several helipads, helistops and heliports around it's territory which is quite a lot compared to the area and inspires people to find a way to enjoy their heli development opportunities and fly them around. However this is where the disconnect star...

Questionable Helicopter Maker of Nigeria

We helped a fellow helicopter enthusiast back on 2nd August 2009 Mubarak Muhammad Abdullahi passport number A 00414 178 from No 531 Mahmood Tukur Road Bayero University, Kano P.O. Box 65, Bayero University Kano, Newsite, Nigeria. With our sponsorship he came to Malaysia from London to our site and stayed freely in our hotel in exchange for promising to work on a helicopter project. Unfortunately he absconded after taking money from us, roamed around Malaysia with his friend who threatened us and extorted money from us. If you can help us get £3,570 back from Mubarak Abdullahi then we will be relieved.  His UK number was +447771129454 Mubarak Abdullahi is said to be from Bayero University, Kano. He did his BSc in Physics. We asked him to come to us in Malaysia and build helicopters. We paid for the airline return tickets from London to Kuala Lumpur. We even paid for transport in London including the metro and bus. It's not just money we lost b...

Mass Producing Ultralight Helicopters in Micro Factories

Image
Jingxiu Yan showing videos of testing DIY Helicopter. In China Alex Chen is presumed to have made Coaxial Helicopter.    A globally active association for homebuilt helicopter makers is the need of the hour to mass produce copters at micro factories in order to provide seamless inclusive travel and logistics services covering remote areas. Conghua Museum Near Horse Racing Track Guangzhou got a helipad 广州国家版本馆 Most helipads remain unused most of the time due to lack of affordable helicopters  New Hospital with Helipad in Lombardia is going to host helicopter activities. The whole world deserves access to good quality helicopters for not only emergency services provision but also for logistics and tourism. The only way even the poorer countries can afford this is through decentralized open source well coordinated production of ultralight helicopters in micro factories.

Need more cooperation and less competition

Bangladeshi people like to be their own boss and operate their business them selves, which results in many small shops in a commercial area competing with each other. The problem is more concrete walls and repeat of basic administrative tasks which is not efficient. The government doesn't get much tax because all the businesses are too small to be taxable.  We need to work cooperatively in a team which will enable us to specialize in a field and make collective decisions. In any proper economy there are large shopping malls which employs lots of people who specialize in their field and advance their skills at the same time pay sizable taxes. These shopping malls also offer entertainment, socializing and a variety of goods & services at competitive prices which is unthinkable for the majority of the people in poor countries like Bangladesh. There should be more competition among businesses and more cooperation among consumers and employees. One area that needs most coopera...

Meet the world’s most flirtatious sovereign-wealth fund

Image
image: brett ryder Jun 29th 2023 Your columnist was in Riyadh in 2016 when Muhammad bin Salman, wearing robes and sandals, announced his Vision 2030, aimed at ending what the crown prince described as the kingdom’s addiction to oil. Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler talked of selling shares in Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil company, to fund a giant sovereign-wealth fund (swf), worth $2trn, to invest in diverse non-oil industries. He would be its chairman, benefactor and mastermind. It was heady stuff, even if some of it sounded unhinged in a hidebound autocracy like Saudi Arabia. The most striking thing occurred later when a palace official invited Schumpeter to a café. Young men and women sat without head coverings, flirting openly. The rule-breaking atmosphere was electric. Today, the Saudi swf, called the Public Investment Fund (pif), is becoming the goliath Prince Muhammad dreamed about. The value of its assets has ballooned to $700bn, it has over 1,400 employees and a rising gl...
