☮️ I have been a helicopter lover since childhood & dreamed of having flying magic carpets. I quickly realized that to fly in 🚁 you have to be extremely wealthy or at least a really wealthy VIP, but then you are more likely to be flown than to fly yourself unless you are a selected few. So interest turned to light and ultralight helicopters. I traveled and flew in light helicopter, met pilots and helicopter instructors and licensed mechanics. Then constantly built up & honed skills. Searched for helicopters that would make us happy. It was much more difficult than I have imagined. None of the available designs were suitable, either too delicate, with a poor engine, or expensive to purchase or maintain. Couldn’t find a helicopter that was interesting, so began to make plans to build a helicopter without the flaws described.
