The project, located in the heart of Europe largest technology hub, Sophia-Antipolis, will include 34 307 m² of offices and a 100 rooms hotel. Its main characteristic however will be the 25 000 m² of green spaces forming a hill covering the building. The building permit has been granted and work is expected to start next September.

The first two lots of the large urban redevelopment "De Mayol à Pipady" have been unveiled last week. Work is expected to start only in 2024 however.

The first lot, called "Les Promenades de la Rade", will include a 2 ha new park on the waterfront, a cultural space in the rehabilitated Halle Marine, a 4 stars hotel, a congress center as well as shops and offices.

Cet immeuble d’exception, signé par l’architecte lauréat du prix Pritzker Jean Nouvel, par Oxo Architectes (Manal Rachdi), et Atelier Foussat Bapt vise à devenir le pôle d’excellence du biomimétisme du Sud de la France.


Conçu comme le campus écologique du XXIe siècle, le projet, développé en partenariat avec Xavier Niel accueillera 34 300 m2 d’espaces de bureaux et co-working, un hôtel 4* de 120 chambres avec piscine et spa (6 200m2), 1 400 m2 de services associés au bureau, 1 250 places de stationnement. Entouré de 25 000 m2 d’espaces verts, Écotone Antibes sera le bâtiment le plus végétalisé jamais construit.
