How make electric motors, 3D printed boats, cleaning machines, guaranteed for life production works

The entire print, assembly and trim process required less than ten working days to complete. After the printed and trimmed tool was coated and finished, a fiberglass mold was produced using the printed pattern. This effort clearly demonstrates the feasibility, practicality, economics and advantages of using additive manufacturing in the production of boat tooling.

BeAM is the First European manufacturer of metal additive manufacturing machines (metal 3D printers). This LMD (Laser Metal Deposition) process makes possible the direct manufacturing of metal parts, innovative repairs that were impossible up to now and the adding of functions on existing parts directly from a CAD/CAM file.

BeAM has proven is legitimacy thanks to its international industrial partners of the aerospace sector and major investors such as Philippe Varin (CEO AREVA), Emeric d’Arcimoles (Commissioner-general of the SIAE-Salon du Bourget), Hervé Guillou (CEO DCNS), Maurice Bérenger (CEO Protip Medical), Bernard Claude (CEO Europe Investment Group) and Frédéric Sanchez (Chairman of Fives’ Executive Board). BeAM is developing new implementations of metal additive manufacturing processes for the Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear and Medical sectors.
